TechHouse: A Finalist in GrowFL’s 2020 Companies to Watch!

We are excited to announce that TechHouse has been selected as a finalist for the 2020 Florida Companies to Watch Awards, an initiative by GrowFL!

Now in its tenth year, this prestigious event recognizes second-stage companies from across the state that have made significant contributions to Florida’s economy.

    A Recognition of Excellence

Selected from over 400 nominations, we are now in the running to join the 450 honorees who have been recognized since the inception of the awards in 2011.

These companies represent nearly 3,000 jobs and generate $670 million in revenue. They are all “worth watching,” with an anticipated growth of 13 percent in revenue and 23 percent in employment by the end of 2020.

    Celebrating Growth and Innovation

The finalists represent a unique group of scalable, high-growth enterprises already located in Florida. These high-growth enterprises are an important segment of our economy, and their numbers have steadily increased.

The Kauffman Foundation notes that “entrepreneurship is not a monolithic phenomenon, including many moving parts. Creating new businesses is a different economic activity from running small businesses, which is different from growing businesses.”

The Companies to Watch initiative was developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation as a unique way to recognize and honor second-stage companies that demonstrate high performance in the marketplace with innovative strategies and processes. In addition to evaluating past growth and projected success, applicant companies are judged according to their unique strengths and impact in their markets, communities, and within the state – thus deeming them “worth watching.”

We are thrilled to be selected alongside some of the top second-stage companies in Florida and want to congratulate and wish continued success to all of the other nominees!

The 2020 honorees will be recognized on November 12, 2020, at 6 p.m. during a live broadcast from Orlando, Florida. For more information, visit About FLCTW.

    Let’s continue growing together!
